Fitness Coaching for Women

Like anything else for women after 40, our fitness may begin to take on a different look. Our bodies may not respond the way they once did to the routines that worked in the past. This doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong. We're battling hormones and their affect on our ability to build and keep muscle. This is where I come in. With targeted and specific programming designed just for you, we can work together to get you through this life transition into the body transformation you're seeking. You just need a good attitude and the ability to laugh because exercise is so much more fun when you can laugh your way through it!

We offer weekly and diverse fitness classes for women of all ages, abilities, and capabilities.  We use a variety of equipment and methods to provide a challenging, fun, and safe environment for those seeking to get stronger, more fit and more capable in your daily life.

Functional Strength Training  

(Tuesdays & Thursdays 6 - 7pm)

 

With today’s social media influencers, it’s hard to tell who to trust with your fitness goals and safety.  Drawing on decades of experience and education as a trainer and strength coach, this class will teach you the how’s and why’s of strength training as we get older, using a variety of fitness equipment to get you strong for your daily life, all in a safe and fun environment.  Specific focus on posture, balance, pelvice floor, core/midline endurance, stability and strength. All levels and abilities welcome.  All exercises can be modified to meet you exactly where you’re at.

Spicy Strength 

(Mondays 6 - 7 pm) 

This fun and energetic class combines strength training and a HIIT workout woven throughout each class, using a variety of equipment to help build your cardiovascular health, bones, muscles and joints.  Each class is different from week-to-week so you’ll never get bored which will keep you coming back for more! Every exercise can be modified to meet you exactly where you are.

Not a group class kind of gal? Then maybe working with someone 1:1 is more your style.  I offer personalized sessions catered to your speed, abilities, your level and to your goals.  This more customized approached can offer a better chance to meet your exact needs while utilizing my expertise in the field of fitness on a deeper level for you. 

**An Initial Fitness Assessment (60 min/$55) is required prior to beginning your newly purchased personal training package so that I can customize and then tailor each training session specifically to your needs and abilities. I will walk you through a full-body assessment of strength, mobility, balance, posture, and coordination to ensure that each training session is dialed-in exactly to you.  Additionally, we will spend some time going over your goals for your training sessions.

 

Virtual Weekly Programming:

This style of online training works great for those who need little or no in-person guidance but love to have programming designed specifically for their garage gym, commercial gym, or for those who travel often.  Each week you’ll receive workouts designed to meet your needs and goals for that week.  A monthly 30-minute check-in via zoom allows for tweaks to the programming and maintains communication with your coach.
